Fire officials have confirmed that the Rye Fire now poses no threat to the City of Simi Valley. Based on that information the City's Emergency Operations Center has closed. Fire and Police Department personnel will be closely monitoring the City for potential fire threats throughout forecasted wind events. Please immediately report any suspicious activity observed in brush and wild land interface areas of the City by calling 911.

The Simi Valley Youth Council is an advisory board to the City Council on issues affecting youth in the community and is comprised of high school and middle school students.
