Fire officials have confirmed that the Rye Fire now poses no threat to the City of Simi Valley. Based on that information the City's Emergency Operations Center has closed. Fire and Police Department personnel will be closely monitoring the City for potential fire threats throughout forecasted wind events. Please immediately report any suspicious activity observed in brush and wild land interface areas of the City by calling 911.

Simi Valley City employees are compensated in accordance with Memoranda of Agreement negotiated with represented bargaining units and resolutions for non-represented employees.

The salaries of the two executive employees hired directly by the City Council are shown in the table below.

City Attorney
$232,954 per year
